These stylish steel fenders enhance the look of all 1984-1999 5 Speed Harley-Davidson Softail models. They sit a little over 1 1/2″ (4 cm) lower than the stock fender and feature a seat to fender radius that perfectly matches lowered bikes. Most stock and aftermarket seats will fit, but some seats with a steel base require custom fitment. This fender features a mounting bracket for a stock 1973-up taillight (SKU 011124) (sold separately) and have an early-style reveal stamped in the rear tips. The fendere will also accept a stock 3 hole license plate bracket, as well as Cycle Standard Curved License plate Brackets or Laydown License Plate Brackets. The installation of these fenders requires you to cut 5″ off your stock fender struts, and the stock turn signals must be relocated. Two decorative end caps are supplied with each fender to finish off the shortened struts and add to their overall appearance.
NOTE: The saddlebags on FLSTC models cannot be reinstalled due to the shortened fender struts.
